JLPT N4 - nara
Following a noun where the noun is the subject, nara can mean as for.... What follows nara is an idea or opinion.
(A Dictionary of Basic Japanese Grammar doesn't have this form of nara.)

- 動物 なら、カワウソ が 一番好きです。
- As for animals, otters are my favourite.
- サッカー は そんなに上手ではありませんが、ラグビー なら かなり得意です。
- I am not good at soccer but as for rugby, I am quite skilled.
